Geoje Island
Geoje Island ranks 2nd on the list of the most beautiful islands in Korea. It is a city located in South Gyeongsang province, just off the coast of the port city of Busan, South Korea. Jeju is South Korea's sole self-governing province, meaning it is administered by local residents rather than politicians from the mainland. The major road is 181 kilometers (112 miles) long, while the shoreline is 258 kilometers long (160 mi). Kimnyeong Beach is on the northern end of Jeju Island, Songak Mountain is on the southern end, Suwolbong is on the western end, and Seongsan Ilchulbong is on the eastern end.
In the local community, Geoje Island is referred to as Geojedo. It is located in Geo City, a beautiful center in the province of Gyeongsangnam. Through bridges, this island is connected to Tongyeong.
