The Yellow Sea surrounds Hongdo Island, which is located in South Korea's Jeollanam-do Province. It ranks 3rd on the list of the most beautiful islands in Korea. This paradise, like Geoje Island and Jeju Island, is famed for its wonderful beaches and resorts, which serve as a melting pot for travelers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. On the island, steep mountain ranges may be seen. The tallest of all the mountains on Hongdo Island is Gitdaebong. Hongdo translates to "Red Island" in English, an obvious reference to the red hue of its rocky outcroppings. This island is home to a plethora of flora and animals, in addition to its terrain and natural attractions.
On Hongdo, meaning "Red Island" due to the red coloring found on many of the rocky outcroppings, there are about 270 varieties of evergreens and 170 species of animals. The government wished to preserve the natural state of the island so Hongdo was designated as a Natural Preserve Area in 1965, and became part of Dadohae Marine National Park in 1981. Because the entire island is declared a Natural Monument, no one is allowed to enter areas other than the villages and designated tourist areas

Muuido Island, also known as Muui Island, is located near Incheon, South Korea. It is close to Yongyu Island and is smaller than the first five islands on this list. From Incheon International Airport, you can view this island. Beautiful beaches with excellent sands may be found on Muuido Island. In addition, the beaches provide good fishing opportunities. Hwanggumpyong, also known as Hwanggumpyong Island, is a North Korean free-trade zone near the Chinese border. The northern section of the old island, however, is now permanently connected to the Chinese metropolis Dandong due to the ongoing deposition of river-borne sediments. The territorial boundary between North Korea and China is marked by a steel mesh fence. Because ethnic Koreans were on the island when the 1962 boundary treaty was signed, both China and North Korea agreed that the island belonged to North Korea. On the otherwise Chinese side of the river, the old river island is now a North Korean exclave.
In June 2011, Sunbase International Holdings Ltd's Gao Jingde reached a deal with China to construct a joint free-trade zone on the Hwanggumpyong and Wihwa Islands, as well as the Chinese border territory near Dandong. By 2013, the land had been prepped, and a free-trade zone covering more than 300 acres (120 hectares) might be operational in two years.

Baengnyeong Island is a 45.8-square-kilometer, 8.45-kilometer long, and 12.56-kilometer (7.80-mile) broad island near the Northern Limit Line in Ongjin County, Incheon, South Korea. The Korean War Armistice Agreement of 1953 stipulated that the five islands, including Baengnyeong Island, would stay under UN Command and South Korean authority. North Korea and the United Nations Command both signed this pact. It has acted as a maritime border between North and South Korea in the Yellow Sea.
In Baengnyeong Island, the beaches are long and expansive. Shells wash up in large numbers on several of the beaches. Brightly colored flowers blossom along the roads. Kongdol Beach has round pebbles in a variety of colors such as gray, red, and purple. The most spectacular (and famous) view is that of the boulders and rock towers sticking up out of the water at Dumujin, a beach cobbled with beans. For the best view, walk along a path over the hillside to see rocks jut up tens of meters in the air from the sea. As an American from the U.S. West Coast, I consider the rocks to look like the mesas of Nevada and New Mexico.

Gwanmaedo ranks 8th on the list of the most beautiful islands in Korea. Located 17 km south of Jindo Island on the southwestern tip of the Korean peninsula, Gwanmaedo Island is part of the Dadohae National Park. With excellent beaches, rocky cliffs and boulders, mountains, pine forests, hiking trails, delicious seafood, traditional villages, and friendly locals, the island is recognized as one of the most scenic islands in the region. Moreover, its location serves as a gateway to many other smaller, remote islands.
You may embark on interesting treks and camping trips in the pine-forested areas near the beach, in addition to swimming and sunbathing until you acquire your ideal tan. When visiting the island, one piece of advice is to bring food with you because restaurants are few on Gwanmaedo Island. Other nearby islands such as Gakheuldo, Hyangdo, and Bangaseom can be reached on foot during ebb tide. Most of the residents work in both the farming and fishing industries. The main agricultural products are winter radish, sweet potato, and beans. The main catches include anchovies, yellow corvine, drum, mackerel, and bass. There are also brown seaweed and tot farms. In particular, tot, seaweed, and anchovies are the most well-known local specialties.

Anmyeondo Island is one of the most beautiful islands located in Taean County, South Chungcheong Province. Yeonguijeong Kim Yuk ordered the flooding of the land between Changgiri (Anmyeoneup) and Sinonri (Nammyeon) to preserve tax delivered to Hanyang (now Seoul) from Japanese pirate pillage. To connect the Anmyeondo Island to the mainland, the Anmyeongyo bridge (length 208.5 meters) was built in 1970.
In Anmyeondo Island, the island's coast is lined with some 14 beaches as well as abundant pine trees, which are symbols of Anmyeon-eup. The island also owns Anmyeondo Natural Forest, along with the Mogamju Forest. The terrain here is vast and varied. One day you could spend hours hiking through vibrant green rice fields and jungle paths only meeting water buffalo along the way; the day after you could beach hop all day from one patch of white shore to the next. For nature lovers, there are no limits here.
