German European School Singapore - GESS is an outstanding international school that offers excellent education and promotes a vibrant sense of community. Founded by parents in 1971, GESS is a non-profit school that invests all its funds into teaching and learning.
GESS is accredited by five education organizations and is known for its innovative teaching methods. It offers two curricula: the International Baccalaureate (IB) in English and the German curriculum.
GESS is renowned for its language programs, where students can learn over 15 languages. The school serves a diverse student population with 68 nationalities and 70 languages.
GESS encourages students to go beyond the classroom and participate in experiential learning. They offer over 200 programs and activities.
In 2021, GESS partnered with 15 global companies to create the BeyondClassrooms program. This program provides students with valuable real-world experiences through internships, expert talks, and hands-on STEM programs.
