United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) - East Campus is a welcoming and diverse community that embraces students and their families from around 100 different countries. Since its establishment in 1971 as the Singapore International School, it has expanded to become a K-12 international school with over 5,600 students across two campuses.
Guided by the educational principles of Kurt Hahn, the founder of the UWC movement, UWCSEA believes strongly in the positive impact of education on the world. Its mission is to utilize education as a means to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
In the High School, the academic program at UWCSEA is tailored to meet the requirements of external examinations such as (I)GCSE and IB Diploma. Pioneering the IB Diploma in Asia, they have been offering a diverse range of IB Diploma subjects in Singapore since 1977. The aim is to educate individuals who are ready to tackle challenges and contribute to making the world a better place.
The UWCSEA learning program comprises five key elements: academics, activities, outdoor education, personal and social education, and service. These components synergize to provide students with a comprehensive and values-based education. The goal is to cultivate students as individuals and active members of the global community.
At UWCSEA - East Campus, they foster an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. The dedicated educators are passionate about inspiring and guiding students on their educational journey.
