Overseas Family School
Overseas Family School (OFS) was established in 1991 to provide a modern English-language education to families from different countries living in Singapore. They have earned a reputation for offering excellent international education.
OFS believes in delivering a high-quality education that meets the diverse needs of their students. Their curriculum includes the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) for children aged 2 to 5, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for students in Grades 1 to 5, and the well-known International Baccalaureate (IB) programme for Grades 6 to 12.
Diversity is central to OFS, with students from over 70 countries. This diverse mix of cultures creates an inclusive and dynamic learning environment, where students gain a global perspective, appreciate different cultures, and develop a broader understanding. The faculty consists of highly qualified and experienced teachers from approximately 40 countries.
Language learning is an essential part of education at OFS. Students have the opportunity to study languages such as English, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin, or Spanish. OFS provides the Study Preparation Program (SPP) for students who are transitioning to an English-speaking environment. This program helps students quickly develop their English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while maintaining their grade level based on their age.
