Goldwin
Goldwin began their career in 1950 with the Tsuzawa Knit Fabric Factory in Oyabe City, Toyama Prefecture. They became a pure sporting goods producer and started their original brand, Goldwin manufacturing, in 1958. Japanese ski clothing was still in its early stages in the 1960s. Goldwin used the knitting expertise acquired in knit fabric production to create ski sweaters with great utility and exquisite design.
In 2018, they renewed the brand logo in order to aim for more appealing items and to propose their ideals as the new Goldwin by primarily focusing on skiing as their brand core even now and then. The three-element sign represents vitality, energy, ski tracks, a sensation of speed, and a mountain and natural silhouette. In 2019, Goldwin launched its outdoor and sports collections, as well as the C3fit collection, a brand of compression gear. Goldwin, as a brand that actively blends outdoor and city life, mixes technical components of gear with a particular aesthetic sensibility. The resulting clothing can survive the harshest outdoor conditions while still looking fashionable in urban settings.
