Yonex ranks 4th on the list of the Best Japanese Sportswear Brands. Yonex Co. Ltd. is a Japanese sports equipment manufacturing company. Minoru Yoneyama established the corporation in 1946, and its headquarters were in Tokyo, Japan.

The company produces a wide range of products, including Rackets, golf, tennis ball, athletic shoes, bags, clubs, shuttlecocks, jackets, t-shirts, leggings, shorts, etc. Aside from sporting equipment, the company also manufactures athletic shoes and other sports items. Furthermore, the corporation dominates the production of badminton equipment in Asia and has brand collaborations with the World Badminton Federation.

In 1957, the Yoneyama Company began manufacturing badminton racquets as an OEM for the Sanbata racquet brand, relying on its skills in woodworking. Yonex now produces its own tennis racquets, golf clubs, snowboards, road bikes, tennis and badminton string, and other sports equipment.
