Great Basin National Park

The Great Basin National Park is one of Nevada's most picturesque locations and a favored destination for nature lovers. The park is situated in the state's eastern region, not far from the Utah border. A tour of the Lehman Caves, one of the most popular sights in the Great Basin National Park, includes stops at places like the Gothic Palace and the Lodge Room.

Hiking the Bristlecone Pine Trail, where you may see Bristlecone Pines, is another well-liked activity. The planet's earliest living things are thought to be these trees! You may even see the glacier at the foot of the imposing Wheeler Peak if you keep walking along the trail.

Near the Utah border in eastern Nevada is where you'll find Great Basin National Park. The park offers good chances for trekking and outdoor exploration, as well as a startling range of habitats, intriguing caverns, and rock art. There are two visitor centers where you may look at exhibits, get maps, and talk to a ranger about your visit. Kids can join up for the Junior Ranger Program to keep them occupied while you're there.

Lehman Caves
tours are available, or you can hike and have a picnic while admiring the stunning desert scenery. One of the park's highlights is camping under the stars; Great Basin has some of the best stargazing in the state. Other pursuits include going fishing on Baker or Lehman Creek or scaling Wheeler Peak (14,063 ft).
