Green Bay, Protaras

One of the most well-known diving places on the island, located in the heart of Protaras, this stunning location is easy to find and traverse, and is commonly utilized by diving schools for training dives. After all, you're just diving to a depth of 10 meters. The area is teeming with marine life, thanks to a fantastic feeding station called "The Fish Rock." Underwater statues and columns in the site's deepest part will leave you speechless.

Between Fig Tree Bay and Konnos Beach sits the quiet Green Bay Beach. It's known for its beautiful seascape and clear waters, which are perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling. Scuba gear and training for all skill levels are available from various companies near Green Bay Beach. Divers can expect to observe spotted sea bream, colorful parrotfish and wrasses, squid, octopodes, starfish, moray eels, and delicate damselfishes, among other sea creatures. There's also a little sculpture garden beneath the sea, which adds to the excitement of the dive.

Wakeboarding, wakesurfing, water skiing, and wakeskating are some of the other water sports popular in the Green Bay area, with lessons provided by the Green Bay Water Sports and Wakeboarding Club.

Green Bay Beach is less managed than the other Protaras beaches, but it does provide sun loungers and parasols. There's also a small shop where you can buy water, coffee, and snacks, but there are no more amenities, however there may be some food trucks nearby during peak season. It may be difficult to locate the beach, but if you inquire about the diving location, you will finally find it.
