Manijin Island, Paphos
This dive, a ten-minute boat journey from Coral Bay harbour, is incredibly scenic, with a wall, spectacular cave, and swim through, and takes you to a depth of 6 to 25 meters. Manijin Island is small enough to dive all the way around on multiple levels. The cave is coated in purple and pink calciferous algae, and numerous divers have reported seeing yellowfin barracuda there. It is considered one of the best diving sites in Cyprus.
Begin by swimming along the island wall to the deepest portion of the dive, which is an 18-meter sandy stretch. The island wall hangs over the sand, creating incredible patterns and colors. At 12 meters, enter a swim through and exit at 8 meters on top of the reef. This swim through is illuminated by Peyssonnelia algae in various colors of pink. There is a gigantic bowl feature near the conclusion of this webpage! Originally, this would have been an air bubble in the rock, and the roof would have finally collapsed, forming the bowl. Swim beneath the overhangs 360 degrees after entering the bowl through an archway. A blowhole on the way out creates a champagne cork effect as it shoots you out the top over the island reef. This diving site's final swim through takes you back to the beginning. This one takes you within the island reef and is more longer and thinner.
