Guangdong Country Garden School
Guangdong Country Garden School (GCGS) started in 1994 and is a top international boarding school for K-12 students. They have over 4,800 students and 700 faculty members, including around 100 international teachers. GCGS is the primary school of Bright Scholar Education Group and is located in a safe, beautiful area with clean air, close to international airports, Guangzhou, Macau, and Hong Kong.
GCGS offers six major international programs: PYP, MYP, DP, IGCSE, A-Level, and AP. Additionally, they provide Chinese national middle and high school education. Since 2015, they've been one of the three executive committee members of Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) in Southern China. In 2016, GCGS became the first cooperative partner in Southern China for CAIE and partnered with Cambridge Assessment English in 2020. GCGS is one of the two schools in Southern China accredited to implement AP Capstone and is also a member of CIS.
GCGS has excellent teaching results, with a 90%+ acceptance rate for the world's top 50 universities and US News's top 50 universities for six consecutive years.
