Guardians of The Galaxy
It is true that the Guardians of the Galaxy movie has existed for far longer than its MCU debut. But still, it's definitely safe to argue that this 2014's film has successfully introduced the characters to the general public in ways that they have never been treated before.
As die-hard fans of the comics, we were pleased to see how comic book-like it was as well. Without giving away any surprises, we were delighted by many Easter eggs and references from the comic books strewn everywhere, as well as the appearances of a few characters in unanticipated roles.
It is evident that, although Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise capitalizes on some of the actors' identifiable fame, it was also created with a passion for the original source in mind. What we got in the end is a movie in which comic book lovers will certainly find something remarkable, while people who are more familiar with Marvel movies will still be able to pick it up and grasp it with relative ease.
Moreover, Cosmo, the clairvoyant Russian space dog, finally gets all the screen time he deserves and is the greatest character out of all the cast! All in all, we are pleased to say that Guardians of The Galaxy is among the best movies about aliens.
