Gymnasium А+
The "Academy of Contemporary Education" comprises Gymnasium A+, which offers both specialized and general secondary education. The "Gymnasium A+" private secondary and high school has a license to offer both general and specialized secondary education. The International Baccalaureate Organization (IB DP) successfully authorized Gymnasium A+, granting it the status of an IB school.
Students in grades 5 through 11 attend Gymnasium A+, a full-day school offering specialized English language instruction as well as profile subjects. In addition to continuously working on curriculum renewal, development, and the application of new pedagogical technologies, methods, forms of education, and upbringing, Gymnasium A+ guarantees secondary and profile education at the State level.
The institution's primary foreign language is English. Choose from Spanish, French, German, or Chinese as your second foreign language. Based on proficiency levels, the class is divided into smaller groups to learn English and other foreign languages.
The curriculum for students in grades 5 through 11 (or 12 grades in Gymnasium A+) is wrapped up based on subject areas:
- Language and Literature
- Social Science
- Arts
- Mathematics
- Natural Science
- Design and Technologies
- Physical Training.
In addition to the core subjects and instruction in the first part of the day, students are required to attend a bilingual English language course where students can converse with native speakers and a sports section of their choice:
- Science
- Economy
- Web design
- Programming
- Media section;
- Theatre Lab «Review»
- Modern choreography
The curriculum for grades 10 through 11 is designed with advanced study of the highlighted subjects in mind, specifically physics and math, nature science, and foreign languages. Every day, excluding holidays and off days, from 8:30 to 17:30, Gymnasium A+ is open. The day is divided into two sections: academic and extracurricular. Students have an hour after the academic portion.
Admission formula:
- To complete the application in the sales department of Gymnasium A+
- Finish the interview and the test.
- Obtain confirmation of the enrollment recommendations from the school's administration
