Pechersk School International
Pechersk School International is the next school on the list of the best international schools in Ukraine. The international school is non-profit and located in Kyiv. With permission to teach the three International Baccalaureate (IB) programs—Primary Years Program, Middle Years Program, and Diploma Program.
Furthermore, PSI provides an extra general education program approved by the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science. There are 51 employees at PSI, including 22 teachers. Of these, 3 are citizens of the United States, 12 are citizens of the host nation, and 7 are citizens of a third nation.
Eight different nationalities are represented by our faculty and staff: the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, New Zealand, USA, and Ukraine. Every member of the teaching faculty holds a teaching credential or certification from their nation of origin. The majority have graduate degrees.
The only foreign school in Ukraine authorized by the Ukrainian School of External Studies to provide a supplementary general education curriculum recognized by the Ukrainian Ministry of Education is Pechersk School International. Students follow a curriculum that combines courses from the Ukrainian program with officially approved IB courses from around the world.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Education oversees this curriculum. This extensive curriculum is essential for students who intend to live, study, or work overseas. It is also beneficial for those who want to enroll in a national university or work in Ukraine in the future.
