He declared the independence of Israel

David Ben-Gurion proclaimed the State of Israel's independence on May 14, 1948. He stated that the new state will "promote the complete social and political equality of all its people, without discrimination of race, faith, or sex" during Israel's declaration of independence. The British Mandate expires on this day. Even before Jewish independence was proclaimed, he served as their de facto head. During the 1940 Arab-Israeli war, he oversaw the state's military operation. He gave the order for the militias to band together to become the Israel Defense Forces, the country's military. Additionally, he saw to it that all weaponry was given to the IDF.

David Ben-Gurion
was elected as the country's first prime minister after winning the battle against British policy and his conflict with the Arab states. He made sure that the underground forces that took part in the struggle for independence were transformed into the national army while serving as acting secretary of defense at the time. For a developing and mature Israel, this is crucial.

Undoubtedly David Ben-Gurion was the founder of Israel and the country's first prime minister. Perhaps this is considered one of the interesting things about him. Thereby we also see that David Ben-Gurion is a brilliant man, a wise leader, and a visionary.
