Hi-Pro Feeds

The story of Hi-Pro began in 1968 when they built their first factory in Friona, Texas. In 1972, they are known as Hi-Pro Feeds and established themselves as a feed brand in South Central America.

Over the course of 5 decades, Hi-Pro Feeds has been an innovator in animal nutrition. As a result, they soon applied the science of animal feed production. In the 1960s, they started providing nutrition services to get the most out of feed additives. In the 1970s, they developed the first computerized feed formulation program. After the 70s, they oversaw the use of Fast and In-situ Neighborhood Analysis of Near Infrared. Ten years later in the 1990s, they developed advanced amino acid digestibility based on animal nutrition formulations. Before they knew it, Hi-Pro Feeds was one of the first feed companies in North America to develop internationally recognized quality control certifications and programs.

In short, Hi-Pro Feeds continues innovation across the Southwest. They've seen a lot of changes over the last 50 years, but one thing that remains is Hi-Pro Feeds' commitment to nutrition.
