Hiking and excursions
If you enjoy hiking, you can explore Saint Vincent and the Grenadines' forests and gardens; you will find a colorful and beautiful nature visiting places like Mesopotamia Valley where farms abound or stroll through the Montreal Gardens with paths that lead you to labyrinths of a varied and colorful flora. The trips are a fantastic way to view natural wonders such as the "Dark View Falls" cascade or to travel the Vermont Nature Trail and the Cumberland Nature Trail, not to mention the extraordinary experience of climbing the top of the volcano La Soufriere. It definitely is one of the things about St. Vincent & the Grenadines you should know.
Nature enthusiasts seeking some fresh air with a side of stunning scenery should travel to the Buccament Valley, about 5 miles north of Kingstown, to begin on the Vermont Nature Trails. These routes do not need as much endurance as the Rabacca Trail. They also have a diverse range of animals, including the uncommon St. Vincent's parrot, the green heron, the crested hummingbird, and others. Every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors are welcome on the Vermont Nature Trail. It is extremely recommended that you stop by the visitor center upon entering the park to be situated before commencing your journey.
