I.B. Magee Beach
The 167-acre site is located on the northernmost point of Mustang Island in Port Aransas, on the ship channel. I.B. Magee Beach in Port Aransas is next to the popular Horace Caldwell Pier, making it a popular and attractive beach to visit.
This beach, which is located along the Port Aransas shipping channel, is ideal for families looking for nearby amenities and activities. On the wide, sandy sections of the beach, people frequently build sandcastles or spend the entire day relaxing by the ocean beneath a beach umbrella. Take a stroll down the 1,200-foot-long pier and watch local fishermen bring in the day's catch at one of the city's most popular angling locations. A dump station and 75 campsites with water and electric hookups are available. On the beach, primitive camping is permitted.
