Mustang Island State Park Beach

Mustang Island State Park is a great beach for a day on the island. It is a five-mile length of sandy beach along Mustang Island's shoreline where visitors may enjoy a state park experience without having to drive far from Port Aransas' amenities. Hiking and bike routes, camping, birdwatching (over 400 species in the area), and extensive fishing are all available in the park.

With its dune-accented shoreline, the five-mile stretch of beach offers some of the greatest beach activities, such as swimming in the surf, flying kites, bird-watching, and lounging on the sand. Portable restrooms and picnic shelters are among the state park amenities that make for a pleasant day by the water. Because the beach is accessible to both Port Aransas and Corpus Christi, nearby restaurants are easy to come by. The beach at Mustang Island State Park is pet-friendly.
