Ibn Khuldoon National School
Ibn Khuldoon National School (IKNS) opened its doors on September 22, 1983. It was a dream come true for Bahraini parents who wanted a school that teaches in two languages, welcomes both boys and girls, and meets high international educational standards for Bahraini and Arab children.
One important thing that makes Ibn Khuldoon National School different is that it follows international standards. They not only teach the American curriculum but also offer the internationally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
Since September 1990, Ibn Khuldoon National School has been affiliated with the International Baccalaureate. The first group of students graduated from the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) exams in May 1992. The IBDP is a tough and balanced education program for students in grades 11 and 12. It helps them get into the best universities worldwide. It takes two years to complete and ends with external exams.
Ibn Khuldoon National School is located in Isa Town, Southern Governorate, Bahrain. It is a highly respected school. The school is licensed and recognized by the Bahrain Ministry of Education. They offer a high-quality bilingual program for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
