Yakitori typically refers to a style of skewered grilled chicken, but Ichiban offers way more than just chicken on their yakitori menu. Along with meat and seafood options, Ichiban also offers a lot of grilled vegetarian options, including eggplant, spiced corn, and tofu. All of these are offered in small plates, so you can try a bunch of different things, or order a ton for your table to share tapas-style.
They also have plenty of sushi options along with a bunch of Korean and Japanese specialties. They have great deals on their Happy Hour menu (16:00 – 18:00 every day) and fresh, $1 oysters daily. Even if you’re just going for a couple of drinks, Ichiban’s stylish interior and quick service make it an ideal spot for a date night.
