Indomie
Indomie instant noodles were initially introduced in 1972 in the Indomie Chicken flavor. Indomie introduced Mi Goreng, the first dry noodles version (served without broth), in 1982, inspired by the traditional Indonesian fried noodles meal. Indomie Mi Goreng soon gained popularity and broke into the instant noodle business. Indomie has subsequently become a household brand name in Indonesia, with the bulk of the market share.
Indomie is manufactured by Indofood, the pioneer of instant noodles in Indonesia and one of the world's leading instant noodles makers. There are two categories:
- Dry-based noodles:
Indomie Mi Goreng, unlike traditional instant noodles, is best enjoyed without any broth. Simply cook the noodles in boiling water, drain, and then add the ingredients to taste the actual original flavor of Indonesia.
There are several Indomie Mi Goreng flavors to choose from, including original, hot and spicy, barbeque chicken, satay, and many more.
- Soup-based noodles:
It is inspired by the variety of spices found in Indonesia. Indomie is absolutely tasty and enticing because of the fragrant soup's combination of noodles and a blend of Indonesian spices. Outstanding flavors include chicken curry, kakaruk chicken, shrimp, beef, and many others.
