Shin Ramyun
Shin Ramyun is a brand of instant noodles (including cup ramyeon) manufactured by the South Korean food firm Nongshim since October 1, 1986. It is currently sold in over 100 countries and is South Korea's best-selling instant noodle brand. Nongshim's market share increased to 46.3 percent with the introduction of Shin Ramyun in 1987, and it surpassed 50 percent for the first time in 1988. (53.8 percent). Shin Ramyun is a prominent brand of instant noodles in Korea, with a market share of more than 20% on its own.
Shin Ramyun, famous for its spicy flavor, is available in at least four varieties: the original Shin Ramyun and Shin Ramyun Black, both of which debuted in 2011, as well as Super Spicy, which was released in 2019, and a shrimp flavor that is exclusively available in China. A typical Shin Ramyun container contains noodles, a packet of seasoning powder (soup base), and a packet of vegetable flakes. Shin Ramyun Black features an additional packet of beef stock soup, giving the soup a more powerfully flavorful flavor.
