Interaction Design Specialization

You will discover how to create technologies that delight users rather than frustrate them. You'll discover methods for coming up with design concepts, how to swiftly prototype them, and how to use prototypes to solicit feedback from various stakeholders, including your coworkers, clients, and customers. Additionally, you'll discover the fundamentals of perception, cognition, and visual design that guide good interaction design.

You will learn how to create technologies in this course that make people happy rather than frustrated. You'll discover different methods for quickly prototyping (such as Wizard of Oz prototyping) and comparing various interface options, as well as why these methods are crucial for effective interaction design. To help you generate design ideas, you'll learn how to do fieldwork with people. How to create interactive low-fidelity mockups and paper prototypes, as well as how to leverage these designs to get input from other stakeholders such as your coworkers, clients, and users. You will be able to do more imaginative human-centered design in any domain if you are equipped with these design-thinking techniques.
