International Balloon Festival
On September 15-18, the International Balloon Festival brings a special atmosphere to Yerevan, where many colorful balloons from various countries adorn the sky, creating a picture-perfect setting. The festival, organized by Skyball, aims to promote tourism as well as aviation and aeronautics in the country.
During the nine-day event, each Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday begins with Dawn Patrol and a breathtaking mass ascension, in which all balloons launch from Balloon Fiesta Park in two waves, speckling the sky above. Every day, around 7:00 a.m., balloons begin to launch. Other days, in addition to mass ascension mornings, include launches from the park and special shape rodeos, in which a spectacular array of special shape balloons ascend from the grassy field. Evening events vary throughout the week, but many nights feature a Balloon Glow, in which hundreds of balloons stay grounded while simultaneously lighting up the night sky.
Not only that, the International Balloon festival is known as the most famous festival in Argentina, and is also famous internationally. Therefore, the festival has attracted visitors not only domestically but also internationally. Come to Armenia to join this special assembly.
