Yerevan Color Run

Another enjoyable activity is the Yerevan Color Run, which is held in July at the Hamilar Complex (date varies). The festival begins early in the morning with a vigorous fitness warm-up to prepare for the 5km run. Along the route, the participants are drenched from head to toe in harmless bright colors. Because it's a fun run, there are no time constraints, rules, or restrictions. The first three men and women to cross the finish line, however, receive a special prize.

6,000 people took part in the festival. In fact, the inspiration for this series of events came from a variety of fantastic events, including Holi, Mud Runs, and Disney's World of Color. Many countries, including Armenia, participated in this series of events in 2015, and Armenians have since held epic Yerevan Color Run events in the city. Therefore, the Yerevan Color Run festival is considered as one of the most famous festivals in Armenia.
