International School of Paris
The International School of Paris (ISP) is a Paris-based private international school. It is run by a Board of Trustees and is a non-profit organization. Many of the members of this Board are ISP parents.
It was built in 1964 under the name Pershing Hall. The school has over 700 pupils in March 2017, representing over 60 countries and 50 native languages. ISP is the only school in France that offers all three International Baccalaureate programs: the IB Primary Years Programme, the IB Middle Years Programme, and the IB Diploma Programme, according to the official IB directory.
The school has three locations in Paris's 16th arrondissement. On Rue du Ranelagh, there is an elementary school. The secondary school is housed in two buildings on rue Beethoven, one of which is next to the other. ISP launched a middle school site on Route Cortambert, also in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, in September 2018 and closed the one on rue Chardin.
The school is a non-profit, independent, and co-educational establishment. The Council of International Schools, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and the International Baccalaureate Organization have all granted it accreditation (IB). The school is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and the European Council of International Schools.
