italki is a "community marketplace" for language teachers where learners could pay money to online teachers for personal lessons. It currently has over 1.5 million language students learning over 100 different languages on italki.

italki is a global language learning community that brings students and teachers together for one-on-one online language lessons. It is committed to providing everyone with the chance to study languages in the most personalized and authentic ways possible. One-on-one lessons that can last 30, 40, or 90 minutes. Group classes, on the other hand, last an hour to an hour and a half. You might teach kids, general and business English, exam prep, or basic conversation lessons.

Teachers can apply as a teacher on italki and if approved, can create a Teacher Profile and immediately tap into millions of potential language students. You can apply to be a community tutor or a professional teacher at italki. For the latter, you must have shown teaching experience and relevant certifications. Community tutors, on the other hand, do not require certificates or degrees to provide general lessons or conversation practice.

Hourly rate: You choose your own prices, but on average, you may make from $12 to $25 per hour. Remember that if you set your charge too high, it will be more difficult to attract students.
