Jabal al Khala mountain is located in Janūb Sīnā', Egypt. The coordinates of the mountain are 28° 27' 1" N 33° 56' 10" E. Jabal al Khala has a hot deserts climate. There is an excess of evaporation over precipitation. In Jabal al Khala Mountain, stable descending air and high pressure aloft create hot, arid conditions with intense sunshine. When the sun is shining brightly (summer), scorching, desiccating heat prevails. Due to the exceptional radiation loss under clear skies, night-time temperatures can drop to freezing or below during the colder months of the year. Temperatures, on the other hand, rarely fall below freezing.
Jabal al Khala, also known as Gebel el-Khala or Jabal al Khalā, is a mountain- a high elevation that rises above its surroundings, with a small summit area, steep slopes, and local relief of 300m or more.
