Jang Ok Jung Live For Love (2013)
The Korean drama Live for Love by Jang Ok Jung is renowned for being tragic and passionate. In the film, Kim Tae Hee plays the Joseon Dynasty princess Jang Hee Bin's consort, Jang Ok Jung. The film is about Jang Ok Jung's life. She is smart, talented at sewing, and from an agricultural family. Ok Jung discovers a technique to enter the palace in order to seek to alter the destiny of being placed in oppressive positions. She started off as a palace maid and worked her way up to become a renowned court costume designer. She then won King Lee Soon's heart and rose to the position of Princess consort Jang Hee Bin, who was highly favored in the harem.
The audience favored Kim Tee Hee and dubbed her the most attractive Jang Ok Jung in history. The actress said that she felt under pressure to perform as a result of that comment. Additionally, this is the first time the actress has been cast with the male lead actor with such a significant age gap. Despite these challenges, her acting style continues to develop and is demonstrated in the historical drama Jang Ok Jung Live For Love.
