Amanda Bramble, the owner, discusses her late grandmother's recipes as well as her family's watermen's ancestry. In the restaurant, her great-oyster grandfather's tongs and other waterman instruments, all from Dorchester County, are on display.
Jimmie and Sook's in Cambridge refuse to compromise on quality. All of the crabmeat is LOCAL MD BLUE CRAB, fished and harvested by their grandfathers and grandmothers. Not only is it a seafood restaurant, but it's also a steakhouse! They now have a full BBQ menu that is pulled daily from the smoker. They even have a small family farm from where they get several of their well-known menu items. From the ingredients to the plating, the crew takes pleasure in the quality and effort that goes into their dishes.
