Jon Bon Jovi
Jon Bon Jovi, whose real name is John Francis Bongiovi Jr., is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor. He is most known for founding and leading the rock band Bon Jovi, which began in 1983. He has 15 studio albums with his band and two solo albums to his credit. Bon Jovi began his acting career in the 1990s, starring in films such as Moonlight, Valentino, and U-571 and appearing on television shows such as Sex and the City, Ally McBeal, and The West Wing.
Bon Jovi was elected into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009 as a songwriter. He was placed 50th on Billboard magazine's "Power 100" list in 2012, a list of "The Most Powerful and Influential People in the Music Business." He was named one of the "50 Most Beautiful People in the World" by People magazine in 1996. People magazine named him "Sexiest Rock Star" in 2000. Bon Jovi was a co-founder and main owner of the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League. The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, which he started in 2006, is his brainchild.
