Joseon Magician

Returning after two years of enlistment, Yoo Seung Ho continued to challenge himself with the historical drama genre when playing the role of Hwan Hee - a great magician of the Joseon era in the movie "Joseon Magician". Hwan Hee once accidentally helped a scientist from Europe by saving his life. In exchange for his life, he shared his expertise and unique crafting skills. From there, Hwan Hee began to create extraordinary items that made him admired and revered by everyone as a magician. Joseon Magician also tells the love story that overcomes barriers and disparities and classes of Hwan Hee and the princess, Cheong Myung (played by Go Ara). This love story took place when the two met while the princess was about to marry the emperor of the Qing Dynasty.

Yoo Seung Ho and Go Ara's good acting combination created many chemical reactions and became a beautiful love story that overcame many difficulties and barriers of status to get together. Thanks to that acting talent, the film has achieved great sales and the cast has also received many nominations for movies such as the Baeksang Arts Award for Favorite Actor in the Motion Picture category.
