Jude Law
Jude Law is an English actor. He is best known for his portrayal as Dickie Greenleaf in the 1999 film 'The Talented Mr. Ripley’. The role earned him a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
From an early age, he was naturally drawn to acting and used to take an active role in his school's stage performances. He had already discovered his destiny as an actor and left college to obtain an acting career as a young man. Despite his good looks and undeniable abilities, his early years were difficult. Following numerous lackluster performances, he eventually found popularity as a cinema star.
Jude officially earned his deserved celebrity status after the excellent portrayal of Pope Pius XIII in the tv miniseries 'The Young Pope'. Other critically acclaimed performances include The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes,' 'Families,' and 'Saturday Night Live.' Also, the actor has had a successful theater career, appearing in several West End shows. In addition, Jude Law is well-known for his humanitarian character. He is a peace campaigner and even participated in anti-Alexander Lukashenko road rallies.
