Kampala International School Uganda (KISU)
Distinguished as one of the best international schools in Uganda, Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) is a global educational place, all while being remarkably affordable. With just 67 students initially, its number of enrolments grew rapidly to 400 students coming from almost 50 countries.
This school emphasizes its hands-on approach and active learning experiences. That means that lessons are not present within classrooms but extend beyond the confines of them. Besides hours studying in class, students can participate in various other activities in different classrooms.
The school houses four cutting-edge science labs, three computer labs, three music rooms, and three performance arenas. Moreover, there is an indoor sports hall, an outdoor basketball court, a competition-standard 25-meter eight-lane swimming pool, two libraries, classrooms equipped with smart boards, and a sprawling five-acre playing field.
These diverse and high-quality facilities mark parents and students a lot. Furthermore, the schools also hold oversea trips to various countries in order to broaden student's knowledge as much as possible. These experiences afford students the chance to immerse themselves in diverse cultures and environments that can cultivate their worldviews.
Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) also encourages its students to take part in community-building activities. This not only fosters a sense of empathy but also lets them know about social responsibility. There are lots of KISU programs, including the notable KISU Charity Walk, which raises funds for local charities.
