In a very unusual way from most of them, Katy Perry came to be the center of a celebrity death hoax. Katy Perry is still alive and well, as you are doubtless aware. She didn't fake her own death, she didn't die, and no one had any plans to kill her, according to this particular conspiracy theory. Instead, this idea operates on the assumption that JonBenet Ramsey, the six-year-old child whose death has never been determined, is actually Katy Perry.

According to this very flimsy idea, pop singer Katy Perry took the place of JonBenet and she was never actually slain. Of course, Perry is six years older than JonBenet would have been, and the two of them have absolutely nothing in common. They hardly even share much in terms of appearance.

This hypothesis, if anything, ought to have died on the vine, but for some reason it managed to gain some support and even inspired a few well-liked YouTube videos. The proof is minimal at best, with the majority of it referring to how one person believes that JonBenet Ramsey and Katy Perry do, in fact, somewhat resemble each other, as do their families.
