Kiyanja

Kiyanja is the next name on the list of the highest mountains in Uganda that Toplist would like to introduce to you. Mount Kiyanja, also known as Mount Baker, is Uganda's third-highest mountain, standing at 15,892 feet above sea level (4,844 meters). The Ruwenzori mountain ranges surround it. It is located in a region known as 'The Mountains of the Moon'. Samuel Baker, a 19th-century British explorer, was the inspiration for the mountain's name. Mount Kiyanja (Mount Baker) is Africa's sixth highest mountain, located on the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Mount Baker, like all the peaks in the Ruwenzori Range, has a ridge with multiple jagged peaks. Edward Peak is the highest point.

Visitors can enjoy scenic views of Mount Kiyanja, which has snow cover, lush forests, and deep valleys. Climbers are guided up the mountain by locals.
