Speke
Mount Speke is the second name on the list of the highest mountains in Uganda that Toplist would like to introduce to you. With a height of 16,040 feet (4,890 meters), Mount Speke is Uganda's second-highest peak. The Ruwenzori mountain range contains it. The upper Bujuku valley is encircled by a triangle formed by Mount Speke, Mt. Stanley, and Mt. Baker. Because the mountain receives heavy rainfall for the majority of the year, many rivers and streams run through the area.
The mountain's slopes are covered in dense vegetation. Leopards, antelopes, elephants, and chimpanzees are among the animals that live on the mountain. For some local communities, Mount Speke is a sacred mountain because they believe God lives at the summit. Mount Speke is crisscrossed by many rivers and streams due to the high amount of rainfall it receives. The vegetation is usually quite dense.
