KOGI Korean BBQ, Haymarket
KOGI Korean BBQ is well known in Haymarket for big serving sizes and some incredibly delicious Korean BBQ and is run by David Bae, who has a long family history of Korean bbq in Australia. His father, Donald Bae, is recognized as being the first to bring the Korean BBQ concept to Australia.
Hang Jun Chung, the head chef, takes pride in sourcing only the highest-quality meats and ingredients, combining them with traditional Korean cooking techniques to provide a unique dining experience. Their wagyu plater, which includes an oyster blade, loin, deckles, chuck flap tail, and ox tongue, is a must-try. Spicy baby octopus, king prawns, marinated chicken thighs, and succulent pork belly are among the other delicacies on their Korean BBQ menu. Seafood pancakes, chilled buckwheat noodle soup, cheese tokbokki, and soft tofu seaweed stew are some of the side dishes available.
