La Pyramide

Some of Le Pyramide's structures are as stunning up close as they are from afar. The Italian architect Rinaldo Olivieri designed La Pyramide, which was completed between 1970 and 1973. The site is also one of the most visited monuments in Cote d’Ivoire.

This well-known monument in Cote d'Ivoire was the first audacious construction and is regarded as an architectural highlight of African modernism. A concrete pyramid sits atop a massive cubic pillar, striped horizontally with balconies and rising over the cityscape.
