Lacul Morii
With a surface size of 246 acres, Lacul Morii is the largest lake in Chiajna. The lake is situated between the neighborhood of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest to the east, the Crângași and Giulești districts to the north, the Militari district to the south, and the village of Roşu to the west. It is approximately 6 km from the city center of Bucharest.
There are air displays, boat races, and other sporting events at the lake, which are utilized for relaxation. In the Lacul Morii region, events like the Coke Live Music Festival and other concerts were planned. Lacul Morii has windsurfing schools on the lake, which is also a popular location for water-skiing, skijet, and other water sports.
