Lake Biao
Lake Biao sits on the crater of a volcano in the south of the island of Bioko, not far from Moca – the well-known tourist attraction of the island. Therefore, the lake is also called by the name “lake Moca”.
The journey from Moca to lake Biao could be a bit tiring for some, but it will definitely give you a spectacular experience. During the journey, you’ll see a mixture of plants, ferns, trees, and wild animals like endemic birds or monkeys. The 3 hours of jungle journey will make you think of a documentary film, except this time you’re the one staring at it. Just remember to bring a lot of water for hydration and protein-based foods for energy.
