Lake Tadane

Lake Tadane is the next name in the list of best lakes to visit in Ghana. In Ghana's Western region, there is a seasonal lake called Lake Tadane. The rainy season causes it to flourish significantly. A fascinating neighborhood that lives beside the lake constructed a village on stilts. The village is called Nzulezu. The tourism officials control access, and tickets must be purchased from Beyin on the mainland. Small canoe rides on the lake are incredibly enjoyable and educational. The rivers frequently travel through dense vegetation and alongside canals that are furnished with conventional fish traps. Compared to relaxing on the beach or touring the slave forts along the coast, it is a unique experience.

Tourists can pay a visit to Nzulezu village, a hamlet that is distinct from all others in Ghana. It is located close to the coast in Ghana's far western region, close to the border with Cote d'Ivoire. Beautiful beauty of the 400-year-old stilt-supported water settlement of Nzulezu, which is home to hundreds of residents in the Western Region, can be found on Lake Tadane. A dynamic interplay between man and nature can be seen in the tranquility of the surrounding area and the everyday routines of life on stilts. It is essentially one long pier that locals refer to as Main Street and has houses built on both sides of it. Living quarters are on one side of the "street," while businesses, a school, a community center, and other commercial enterprises are on the other.
