"What is the official language of Algeria?" is one of the questions that many people consider. To answer this question, Algerian is the official language. It is essentially an Arabic dialect that most Arabs are unfamiliar with. However, depending on where you are, they may speak Tamazight exclusively. In Algeria, French is widely spoken.
