Le Cirque, The Leela Palace
Le Cirque, the most expensive French-Italian restaurant in Manhattan is brought to India by The Leela Hotels. It offers lavish five-course meals with glasses of the finest wine astounding in taste, presentation and price, of course. The most drool-worthy dishes on the menu are the Osscetra Caviar, Black Cod Paupiette, Crème Brûlée and Bostecca ‘alla Fiorentina.
Being a part of such a regal hotel and carrying such a culinary historic name, the restaurant has a reputation to uphold. The parent menu is heavily influenced by Europe, but Le Cirque has gradually transitioned to include Italian recipes that have taken over. The pasta here is especially delicious, especially the crab pasta, beef cheek ravioli, truffle spaghetti, and vegetable lasagne. Mushroom risotto, radicchio risotto, pork belly, scallops, tuna, smoked Himalayan trout, chicken with baby potatoes, beef with mashed potatoes, and pan-seared sea bass are all excellent choices for main courses. Their risotto Bollinger is cooked in Bollinger champagne, making it unique in the city and a must-order.
