Littlebelt
A unique and interesting world lies beneath the surface of the Little Belt, just waiting to be explored. Snorkeling in shallow water is the closest you'll get to feeling like a fish. Floating on the surface with your face and ears in the water, an entire seascape with a plethora of marine life opens up before you. The outer world fades away as you focus on the scene unfolding before you. Allow your curiosity to lead you and enjoy your excursion in peace and quiet. It's an incredible experience, and there's time to contemplate and share what you've seen with the rest of the group afterward.
The Little Belt contains the highest known density of harbor porpoises in the world, with thousands of them living there. It is the only permanent cetacean in Denmark's inner waters. There are also observation excursions available nearby. Other species that frequent the season on a sporadic basis include minke, humpback, and fin whales. The deep waters attract a variety of fish species, including cod, herring, and sea trout, and the Little Belt is a popular recreational fishing location.
