NATO Molen
NATO Molen is one of The Best Dive Sites in Denmark. The Nato Pier is well worth a visit. The pier, which also contained a naval mine and munitions store at Drby north of Ebeltoft, was commissioned in 1968 and now belongs to NATO's Naval Depot Administration in the Navy. Various petroleum depots throughout Jutland use the dock as a supply point. The pier was opened to the public in 2014, and at the same time, huge tankers stopped delivering fuel to the port. The pier offers the background for an oasis of life. There is so much to see here, and even after so many dives, it never ceases to amaze you.
No matter how experienced you are, it is critical to listen to your instructor or guide once you board the dive boat. The number one guideline of dive preparation is "Plan Your Dive, Dive Your Plan" — you must follow your instructor's brief on where you're going, the route you'll take, and what to look out for.
