Love In The Time Of Monsters
"Love in the Time of Monsters" is a comedy film centering on two sisters, Carla (Marissa Skell) and Marla (Gena Shaw), who embark on a trip to celebrate Carla's bachelorette party at a cheesy, dinosaur-themed roadside attraction called "Uncle Slavko's All-American Family Lodge." However, the fun-filled adventure takes a bizarre and terrifying turn when a toxic substance leaks into the local water supply, transforming the lodge's staff and guests into monsters.
As the chaos ensues, Carla's fiancé, Johnny (Kane Hodder), arrives at the lodge to surprise her, only to find himself fighting for his life alongside the sisters and a group of quirky characters. Amidst the zombie-like creatures and mayhem, the sisters must confront their own personal issues and strained relationship to find strength along the way.
While it is filled with humorous moments and over-the-top monster encounters, "Love in the Time of Monsters" also explores themes of resilience and self-discovery, delivering a heartfelt message about embracing one's imperfections and finding courage in unexpected places. Overall, it is an enjoyable and entertaining ride, making the movie an unexpectedly fun addition to the horror-comedy genre.
