Lycee Francais de Chicago
Lycee Francais de Chicago (LFC) was established in 1995 by a small group of French and American families. Since then, LFC has become a leading international educational community in Chicago, with over 500 families and nearly 800 students.
At LFC, they provide an immersive learning experience in an inclusive, multilingual, and diverse environment. Their unique curricula include the French Baccalaureate and International Baccalaureate (IB) programs, offering exceptional education from pre-K to Grade 12.
LFC has been an IB World School since 2013, offering the Middle Years Program (MYP) for Grades 9 and 10, and the IB Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11 and 12. The IB curriculum empowers students to excel in their own unique ways while engaging with a highly sought-after international curriculum.
LFC focuses on preparing students for college and beyond, providing them with a global perspective. This approach equips students with lifelong skills and cultural competencies, enabling them to become active global citizens.
