Maah Daah Hey Trail

The Maah Daah Hey Trail is a must-see for travelers and bikers seeking for things to do in North Dakota. Some of the most magnificent aspects of the Badlands are traversed along the 144-mile trail.

While the path is accessible for horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking, mountain biking is its most well-known use.

The trail winds its way to the CC campground from the Burning Coal Vein Campground, which is located about 30 miles south of Medora (about 16 miles south of Watford City). There are nine campgrounds where travelers can tie up their horses and make a campfire. Bikers travel across flat grasslands, towering buttes, and Western wonders like Medora and an Old West village with a lovely Western vibe.
